The second post-launch update for Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is here with a host of new features, improvements and bug fixes to keep the game fresh. Featuring brand new maps, multiplayer naval operations for both sides plus improved AI handling in both single player and multiplayer games. The Cold War update also includes optimizations to the graphics engine, better stability, further balance improvements. The full list of changes can be seen below! This patch updates Men of War: Assault Squad 2 v1.006 to v1.006. 0 and requires v1.006 to be installed. MULTIPLAYER: - Added naval units for the US faction. - Added naval units for the China faction. ADDED: - New multiplayer map "Taiping".) - Fixed a problem with a missing welcome sound in MP games, which could result in a lack of sound in multiple MP missions.) - Fixed a rare issue with joining servers via lobby system, which caused an exception when attempting to start a new game.) - Fixed some problems regarding language selection in LAN / Hot Seat lobbies. New languages available: Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese.) - Fixed an issue with Faction/Tech Tree triggers which caused some problems when the player quit the game after he unlocked a faction. The problem could lead to crashes / freezes when loading the next mission in some cases.) - Fixed many minor issues with various MP maps, which could cause problems like floating objects, misaligned textures or other visual errors.) - Fixed small gaps in "Small Town" (Winter version).) - Added new function for map makers: "object_set_fly" allows you to control whether a unit can fly over a specific piece of terrain or not.
